Penmaemawr woman went into labour at Glastonbury and went back to festival Baby Oscar with mum Kristy and dad Andy A FESTIVAL-GOER who went into labour at Glastonbury returned to the event a day later with her newborn baby. Little Oscar James Butterworth was delivered at nearby Yeovil Hospital on Friday, after mum Kristy started having contractions in their tent earlier in the day. After the birth, and daunted by a 236-mile drive home to Penmaenmawr, the family took 7lb 4oz Oscar back to Glastonbury in time to see headliners Muse play their hit New Born. Water technician Kristy, 30, told the Daily Post how the drama unfolded. “I didn’t feel very well that morning. Man in court over Ffion Wyn Roberts murder in Porthmadog Ffion Wyn Roberts A 53-YEAR-OLD man appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of Ffion Wyn Roberts. Factory worker Iestyn Davies, of no fixed address, is accused of killing Ffion in Porthmadog on April 10. The body of the 22-year-old care worker was found in a drainage ditch just yards from her home in New Street. Threat to hundreds of jobs at Trawsfynydd power station Trawsfynydd Power Station HUNDREDS of people could lose their jobs at Trawsfynydd nuclear power station sooner than expected if the Government agrees a bid to speed up its closure. Owner Magnox North wants to finish removing low and intermediate nuclear waste from the site by 2014 rather than 2022. Trawsfynydd started producing electricity in 1965 and finished in 1991. Decommissioning work started in 1993 and was expected to finish by 2022. At present 560 people work on decommissioning – 205 permanent, 50 agency and 305 contractors. Gareth Williams, of Chapel Street in Llandudno, was ordered to leave his flat yesterday after months of complaints from neighbours and business owners. The 27-year-old ex-Army man watched on nervously as police emptied and boarded up the property using a closure of premises order.
